Inspire The Starling is a blog that is all about fashion. The brainchild of Carl Starling, a young fashion designer who currently resides in London, Inspire The Starling offers various works of art and what the blogger thinks about them.

Visual Aesthetics – 9
Inspire The Starling is definitely full of photos. Some are simply fabulous – like the Photoshop art – while some, I don’t get. Then again, I am quite challenged when it comes to fashion so I cannot be a judge in this respect. Needless to say, the blog is quite good in this point. However, I expected more when it comes to other visual elements. Things that could use some tweaking are the header and the color scheme. There is nothing wrong with them but a fashion blog could do better.

User Friendliness – 10
Inspire The Starling is very user friendly. The sections for categories and the archives are easily found on the upper part of the right column. The posts are labeled well, making it easy for any user to browse the older posts. The posts themselves also contain relevant links if you are looking for more information.

Reading Enjoyment – 10
I thoroughly enjoyed looking at the photos and reading what Carl has to say about them. As I said earlier, I do not know much about the topic and the blog posts helped me a lot.

Inspire The Starling gives you a lot of eye candy within the posts and tons of info and insights from the perspective of a young fashion designer. Just some more visual work and this blog would be even better!
