Pictures from my World

The only way to describe this blog is that it’s like peeking into a stranger’s photo album and trying to piece together her personality through the pictures.

Visual Aesthetics – 8

They’re very beautiful pictures. Chalk art drawings so real you do a double-take, country sunsets, and quaint little farm scenes.

User Friendliness – 7

In terms of site navigation, it’s very organized and easy to explore. However, there are no substantial captions to give a context as to why she chose that particular photo, nor any details to give the reader an idea of what to watch out for.

Reading Enjoyment – 7

It’s fun to flip through the photos, but without any captions, the blog can get dull.

User Info – 6

There are links to other blogs, but it really feels a little like “eye candy“: pretty to look at, but somehow insubstantial because of the lack of story.

Overall Experience – 7

The pictures are gorgeous, which makes the lack of supporting text even more disappointing. It may appeal to those who enjoy looking at photos, or who know the blogger personally and would like to look at her gallery of work, but needs some more work to do the photos justice.
