Visual Aesthetics – 8
The pretty flowers against the brown and blue colours lend a warm retro feel, which is decidedly female and happily clean to the eye. Nothing wrong with that, but the site could do with a little more banner/theme personalization – perhaps with photos?
User Friendliness – 9
No problems here. Easy navigation, organized neatly, and thankfully no annoying blinking thingis.
Reading Enjoyment – 9
Its a nice mix of daily entries in a Mom’s life, her thoughts and memories and some posts which are purely informational (like tips when starting Kindergarten for instance). The writing is engaging, honest and not overly mushy – and having some posts purely on important parenting issues (and not on their beloved offspring) is a nice touch.
Useful Info – 9
The best thing about this blog is the large amount of useful info in its content. From the moment you see that blue line, to the day they leave for college (and even beyound!), you’re bound to find some enlightening and pertinent stuff. Only criticism is that it could do with a few more links.
Overall Experience – 8
Overall, this blog is a great read – well written, fun and educational at the same time. Apart from the few teaks mentioned above – this one is definitely a gem for anyone with a little one in their lives.
