Visual Aesthetics – 8
Village Gurl has a black background and a very striking neon green and blue header. There is a certain appeal to the theme but I don’t quite get it, to be honest. Maybe the color scheme and the design could use a little more focus.

User Friendliness – 7
The blog has two main columns in the middle, with a lot of black space on the outskirts. The main columns contain a lot of content that left me reeling, especially the one on the right. It’s also a bit of a hassle to have to scroll down a lot just to find the archives.

Reading Enjoyment – 8
Some of the posts are quite funny – a testament to Athina’s personality, perhaps. It would be very hard for someone who does not know her or who is not within her circle to be able to relate to the blog in general, though.

Overall Experience – 8
Village Gurl is a must for people who know her or who at least share the same interests. A little work on the layout and visuals would be good as well.
