Visual Aesthetics – 10
Basic, simple template used. It would have been dull if not for the really good images the author chooses to accompany most of her posts. They are not only serve as a perfect companion to her writing but serve to enhance the blog’s look as well.
User Friendliness – 9
Straightforward navigation. No labels. The author might want to consider using labels in the near future to categorize her varied posts. Fast loading time. Readable fonts.
Reading Enjoyment – 9
Plenty of really great entries here. Some tend to be a bit on the long side and can get boring but most are very enjoyable even with though lengthy. The images accompanying the posts are very apt and help capture the reader’s attention so that you’ll find yourself reading an entry that would otherwise have, on first glance, looked to long to be interesting. I personally enjoyed her short but very intriguing entries about her man.
Useful Info – 7
You will find some good links to PDF files about the Philippines SAF (Special Action Forces) here, some not-so-touristy type of information about some places in the Philippines (Bicol and Manila) and lots of other random (but not always useful) information like stuff on the author’s desk.
Overall Experience – 9
A good blog I have mixed feelings about. The writing is very good but somehow some entries fail to reel me in. A good blog to visit from time to time.
