A Spot of T

The online journal of a a stay-at-home mom for 20 years. The kids are growing and now she wonders what she will now do. Share her daily life in A Spot of T.

Visual Aesthetics – 10

Great template. Simple, organized and good use of colors. The header adds enough color and warmth to the blog and the images of course always add to the story and visual appeal. Clutter-free and everything right where they should be.

User Friendliness – 10

Fast lading time. Big readable fonts. Unobtrusive but large and nicely placed entry dates. Well thought out categories. Easy navigation.

Reading Enjoyment – 7

Since this is a personal blog be prepared for diatribes about the authors daily life. Most posts are a bit too long for the casual reader but there are some gems to be found…like the REM lyrics and video of “Everybody Hurts” (ok so I’m an REM fan and I love the song some I’m biased). The entries read like a diary and will likely interest only people who actually know the author.

Useful Info – 10

Some useful information here and there sandwiched between the stories. For example did you know that a hysterectomy is WAY different from a c-section? Don’t ever make that comment to the author. There are some pretty useful links here too.

Overall Experience – 10

Perfect epitome of an online diary. But like any diary it’s only juicy if you know it’s owner.
