Visual Aesthetics – 6
The banner needs a bit of working on though it does shout SALE. The blog looks too gray. The main body, found in the middle column of the three-column blog, sometimes overlaps with the right column. This blog needs a good makeover.
User Friendliness – 6
This blog is very readable and fairly easy to navigate if you simply need to read the most recent posts. The Archives are very weird though with with dates of actual posts showing up. The extra strange thing about it is that when I clicked on some of the dates it sent me to posts that were dated differently. Really confusing. In addition to this there is no link to the homepage once you get to the static pages. Again as in the aesthetics aspect this blog needs some working on when it comes to usability.
Reading Enjoyment – 8
Short useful posts that makes for very light reading. Nothing deep to read about but nothing really boring or dry here either. Some “non-shopping” posts can also be found here that are quite funny.
Useful Info – 9
Lots of useful info here for online shopaholics. You not only get to read some tips or advice but also get to read reviews form an actual consumer of the products.
Overall Experience – 7
This blog has promise but to be really significant as a shopper’s resource it needs more posts, a greater variety of products reviewed, a better way of categorizing each post, and a makeover for a more appealing look.
