My Bedroom Blog is Amy’s blog. Amy is a writer and has authored a book titled Aphro-ME-siac, described by her as “A girl’s guide to the ultimate aphrodisiac, as well as the creator of Aphrodisiac6 product line; a line of essential oils, candles, soaps and bath herbs which can be purchased at https://www.aphromesiac.com.” This blog is filled with her thoughts and insights on “all things sensual.”

Visual Aesthetics – 7
The color theme of My Bedroom Blog is very appropriate to the blog’s content. Hues of pink, red, and maroon will greet you when you visit the blog. The other aspects of visual aesthetics could use some work, though. For example, photos/pictures could be placed within the posts. There are also some elements in the right column that need to be reformatted as they seem to be too big and take away from the overall visual experience. The formatting of the text is fairly consistent and looks good but the latest post makes use of a different font type and size from the rest of the blog and somehow, this does not match the blog as a whole.

User Friendliness – 8
The font color is perfect for the light background – it makes for easier reading. Also, I found myself having to scroll down – and scroll down some more – to find the About Me section and the Archives section. I think it would be better if they were to be found in a more accessible location as this would make for easier navigation. I also suggest fixing up the right column as it left me with a feeling of being confused.

Reading Enjoyment – 10
I believe this to be the strongest point of My Bedroom Blog. Amy is a very good writer and I found myself reading her (very) long posts without getting bored. Her style, her stories, and insights make for a wonderful read!

Useful Info – 9
There are definitely a lot of insights to be found on the pages of My Bedroom Blog. From romance to idealism to relationships to sex to food – Amy talks about these things and you just can’t help but ponder on them as well.

Overall Experience – 8
My Bedroom Blog is one of those blogs which you would visit if you wanted to talk to a friend and no one is available. The content is very amusing and thought-provoking at the same time. It could use some work on the visual aspect but hey, if you don’t mind those things too much, then you will still leave feeling satisfied with the content.
