Food4Health
Food4Health is a “baby” blog which aims to provide people with information on healthy food and ideas. It is actually affiliated with another web site of the same name, under the African Horizon Futures Initiative.
Visual Aesthetics – 8
The blog layout is simplistic and focuses more on the content than the visuals. The header does give off a good vibe – a big bright sunflower with a wondrous landscape in the background. There isn’t any clutter to speak of and everything is just plain clean. A picture of a dish is presented in one of the posts – the blog just needs to add a few more of these and maybe cut up the long blocks of text.
User Friendliness – 10
Very user friendly. Perhaps it is due to the fact that there aren’t too many posts yet. However, the layout is such that a user can easily find posts so I think that even if more entries are posted, navigation will still be easy.
Reading Enjoyment – 9
I enjoyed reading the blog because of the simple way the facts are presented. Though there isn’t much by way of humor, one realizes that humor is not needed to read about healthy ideas and recipes.
Useful Info – 10
Who would not find health topics useful? This is one blog rife with lots of useful information.
Overall Experience – 9
Though it may be a bit too early to proclaim this blog as a winner, I would say that it has a LOT of potential. Everything seems to have been thought of thoroughly to come up with one coherent and useful blog. I definitely recommend this blog.
