The Digitizer is the blog of a Neal Minosa, who describes himself as a wordsmith. His blog is an eclectic mix of all sorts of topics, presented in his own writing style.
Visual Aesthetics – 9
The Digitizer has a very sleek look. The background is a plain white, and images are scattered within the posts, adding splashes of color and visual stimulation. The only thing missing, in my opinion, is a striking header.
User Friendliness – 8
I didn’t have any problems with navigating The Digitizer, and the pages loaded up real quickly. I do wish, however, that the chunks of text were broken up a little bit more. While the posts are well-written, I think that not everyone is into extra long blog posts. Also, it would be great to have more external links within the posts to provide additional information when necessary.
Reading Enjoyment – 9
Neal has a way with words – he is indeed a wordsmith – and this makes his posts enjoyable to read. I would have to say that I prefer shorter posts, though. Also, I couldn’t really relate to some of his posts, which is absolutely understandable as I do not know the blogger.
Useful Info – 7
There are some posts in The Digitizer which may prove to be very useful. However, I would have to say there isn’t much here by way of practical information.
Overall Experience – 8
The Digitizer is worth your time. It does provide entertainment and offer insights as well. You should check it out – you just might become a regular reader!
