Travelogger

This blog on travel (travel + blogger = guess what?) is based on the author’s real life travels, most of which reads like an interesting personal travel journal awash with a load of useful information.

Visual Aesthetics – 9

Clean, tasteful and with good photos to enhance each post, the visuals here make the blog a relaxed, easy read.

User Friendliness – 6

Like I said, its clean, tasteful and with good photos to enhance each post, the visuals here make the blog a relaxed, easy read. BUT, when it comes to the archives, the problems set in. If you click on the archives for September for instance, you stop short on the 12th, and the posts before that are virtually impossible to find unless you have the patience to go through each topic to find it. Not good.

Reading Enjoyment – 8

I like how the posts veer off from being too personal (like you’re reading someone’s diary) and instead read like the best travel writers around. Its engaging stuff and full of the kind of things that could come in handy for your next trip.

Useful Info – 8

Some posts are just purely informational, but always personal enough so that you feel you’re getting honest feedback and not some promotional drivel. Even the more personal accounts had more than enough unformation to be helpful.

Overall Experience – 8

I really enjoyed the looks, style and casual yet informative feel of this blog. The highly readable writing and useful travel tips make it a site worth returning to, especially if travel is your passion. Just some tweaking with the archives navigation please!
