Pearsonified

A Mechanical Engineering graduate who doesn’t consider himself a mechanical engineer, that’s how Chris Pearson describes himself. Indeed, as you go through his blog, aptly named after him, you a mechanical engineer is the last thing that would enter your mind. Pearsonified is all about the Web and how you can improve your sites and business.

Visual Aesthetics – 10

Pearsonified has a very clean and uncluttered feel to it. It is mostly text on white background but with colored headers to easily find what you are looking for. There aren’t too many graphics – just the bold banner of his cats. Very pleasing to look at, really.

User Friendliness – 10

You cannot miss the main entries, which occupy most of the page. On the right hand side, you have tabs which indicate different categories. Pages load really quickly. You won’t have a hard time with this blog.

Reading Enjoyment – 8

As good as the presentation is, not everyone will be able to appreciate the contents of the blog. Though it is well written, there is a specific target audience – people who are into web design and business. Sometimes, it can be a bit technical for the layman.

Useful Info – 9

You will learn A LOT from this Web guru. Nothing else needs to be said.

Overall Experience – 9

If you are even remotely interested in the Web and how to use it in the business sense, this blog is one of the best you can read. If you are not, it is still a good read for information.
