Theory of Thought

Thinking Outside the Box: For Those Who Can Never Color Inside the Lines. With a header like that, who wouldn’t be interested in reading this blog. Visit this blog to read the thoughts of a 16 year old girl.

Visual Aesthetics – 10

First thing you see is very witty, attention grabbing, ultra-large header. I like the blog’s overall look with the simple yet very nice color scheme (red, black, and plenty of white). The flicker photos in the right adds color and interest to the blog. Even with text alone in the content portion the blog design is nice enough to earn this blog a 10 for this category. Very nice profile image by the way.

User Friendliness – 10

No clutter. Just the way I like it. Simple, no fuss navigation. Clear very readable font. Fast loading time. Good categories.

Reading Enjoyment – 10

Definitely enjoyable. Though a personal blog the author shows that she is definitely a thinker as she turns many of her personal posts into “issue” posts. The thinker likes to comment about anything going on in her life and extract some lesson or interesting issue related to it. This 16 year old girl is definitely deeper than most people give teenagers credit for. So who cares if you don’t know what to in your life? You’re going to have a great life if your writing is any reflection of your future.

User Info – 6

Tidbits of info here and there. You can find some info on music, fashion and movies inserted among her posts. Parents of teenagers will do well to read the blog for an inside look on the psyche of a 16 year old girl. Problem is you might end up wanting to swap with the parents of this one.

Overall Experience – 9

Almost a winner if not for the User Info criterion. Again I have to give way to subjectivity and not give a blog I really found enjoyable a Bloggy. Great blog. Very good writing. Never mind your English class and keep your entries interesting.
