Random Bytes

CSS, HTML codes, java scripts, adsense and other IT jargon can sound like a foreign language to the non-techie and what Random Bytes does (quite successfully) is act as intermediary between the IT world and everybody else. On top of all this, you’ll also find a plethora of other useful stuff- from photography to design – which should come in handy for anybody who uses the web.

Visual Aesthetics – 8

The light and simple approach works very well and the only complaint I have is the large picture of a mouse on the right-hand corner which kind of made the page busier than it needed to be.

User Friendliness – 8

This blog has a lot to offer, so its not surprising if the visitor encounters some mild frustration and/or confusion in terms of loading or navigating through the sheer volume of info.

Reading Enjoyment – 9

Digging through journalist Pam Blackstone?s words is a pleasurable learning experience for readers. For seekers of technical knowledge, Random Bites is a wonderful resource of information.

User Info – 9

The nature of her blog is generally informational, with focus on web design, web tools, photography, journalism, search engine optimization, and the like. I found some superb tips all over, like getting my Google ranking up – which I am aching to try.

Overall Experience – 9

Read, learn and have a laugh. Highly informative yet light enough to enjoy like the morning paper, Random Bytes is an Aladdin’s cave for those who wish to discover the secrets of the World Wide Web.
