Can’t afford to take a trip to Japan? Visit this blog and be transported. See the world through the eyes of a 21 year old Najaf Ali and share in his (mis)adventures.
Visual Aesthetics – 8
A very simple and neat blog. Is this the Japanese minimalism rubbing off the author? I usually like simple but the sidebar looks a bit too bare even for me. Good enough looking though especially with the pretty skyline as header.
User Friendliness – 9
Again simple and straightforward. You won’t get lost in this blog except that I keep on clicking on Home to get to the latest blog entry instead of the Blog tab. A little confusing. His categories could use a little addition though with a bit more descriptive categories in the future since it is very limited.
Reading Enjoyment – 9
I found the entries really interesting but that could be because I don’t know anything about Japan and everything the author wrote seems to be either strange, weird, exotic, or cool. But then again I have to give credit to the author since even an interesting topic can sound dull in the wrong hands. The posts tend to run a bit long though.
User Info – 10
Inside info on Japan and everything Japanese through a foreigners eyes. If you plan on heading to Japan it might be a very good idea to read this blog first to at least know what to expect.

Adventures in Japan is exactly what you’ll read about in this blog. It is very enjoyable and and interesting blog to read.
