Kimi’s Confessions

Kimi’s confessions header might look very sexy but her blog is actually simply about her daily existence. That doesn’t mean that the blog is boring though her personal take on seemingly mundane stuff and the way she writes it down makes for a good read.

Visual Aesthetics – 9

Black and Pink but looking really good. Usually the color combination makes me gag but somehow Kimi managed to pull it off in her blog. The color scheme along with the cool header makes for an eye catching look.

User Friendliness – 7

The text is very readable. Commenting is not that friendly though with the two ways to comment, via Blogger and Haloscan. It just doesn’t make much sense to me to have two comment sections. Finding previous posts are also not easy to do since the blog has no other way to access the old posts. No categories nor archives. You’ll need to go back post by post using the previous posts links if you want to her older posts. A pity because I wanted to do that but had no patience for it.

Reading Enjoyment – 8

Although most personal blogs bore me Kimi’s Confessions actually entertained me. She has a way of making the ordinary seem more colorful and worth reading. One of the few personal blogs you can read without actually knowing that person.

Useful Info – 6

No real useful information in the blog. Unless you want to find out which stores and companies have sucky customer service.

Overall Experience – 8

As a personal blog I would say that Kimi’s Confessions is a really cool blog. It manages to convey the personality of the author in a vibrant and very interesting way.
