Inspired by the beautiful B and B’s of North Carolina (where he lives), Mike shares his love for these romantic hideaways by giving some great advice, reviews and links to the top Bed and Breakfasts in the world. If four-posters, homemade crumpets and secluded countryside views are your cup of tea, let Mike lead you to the perfect B and B.
Visual Aesthetics – 6
The black theme just didn’t seem to jive with the idea of charming, chintzy, light and airy B and B’s. More photos of the inns themselves would have also lent a nice touch. I’m thinking Martha Stewart-esque shots of the wonderful breakfast room, the organic vegetable garden out back, the bathrooms with free-standing antique tubs.
User Friendliness – 7
The resources are mostly to be found within the text, so you’ll have to go through posts to find what you want. A listing with categories on the side would have been more visitor-friendly.
Reading Enjoyment – 8
As I enjoy reading about potential holiday spots, particularly about hotels with charm, it was a pleasure reading this blog. The entries were a good length, decently written, and always with masses of helpful information.

Great content and concept, but could do with some tweaking on the design front. I am a huge fan of B and B’s, and would definitely bookmark this site just for its abundance of useful info.
