Cheekie Monkies is actually also titled Ashton’s & Ayden’s Diary. It is written and maintained by their father, whose love for the kids is written all over the blog.

Visual Aesthetics – 10
Cheekie Monkies is very appealing to the eyes. From the color scheme (teal green predominantly) to the arrangement of the individual elements, Cheekie Monkies makes sure that its readers have the best visual experience. There are lots of photos of the children throughout the blog, making for a fun viewing time as well.

User Friendliness – 9
It is very easy to navigate Cheekie Monkies as all the relevant links are within easy reach. The font colors and size make for easy reading. I encountered a minor issue in the loading of the pictures, though.

Reading Enjoyment – 8
I pretty much enjoyed browsing through some of the posts in Cheekie Monkies. They are full of visual complements and you just can’t go wrong with children having fun! However, I do not think that anyone who does not know the children and their family all that much would enjoy coming back on a regular and frequent basis.

Cheekie Monkies does not offer much by way of practical information as it mostly documents the experiences of Ashton and Ayden. Still, there posts wherein you can gather some information on places and activities that your own children might find interesting.

I applaud Cheekie Monkies – I am sure that Ashton and Ayden will surely appreciate having this blog to read when they grow up. It could actually serve as a good example for other parents who want to document their children’s lives in the same manner.
