Hog Biker
Hog Biker is a Harley enthusiast’s blog. In it, he shares his biking experiences in Alaska. He also throws in some things about his personal life.
Visual Aesthetics – 7
I was a bit disappointed with the visuals of the blog. To be honest, I was expecting more “bling” – I wanted to see more photos of bikes and the scenery as well. Oh, you can find these in the gallery but the posts could use some dressing up as well.
User Friendliness – 8
Hog Biker is quite organized and the posts are well-formatted. The number of social bookmarks at the bottom of each post kind of take away from the experience, though. Also, having to scroll all the way down for more links is a bit tiresome, especially since there is a ton of white space on the right column where they could have been placed.
Reading Enjoyment – 9
It was enjoyable reading through the posts, seeing biking as a hobby from someone else’s point of view.
Useful Info – 9
There is some useful information to be found on the pages of Hog Biker.
Overall Experience – 8
A little bit more dressing up and some work on the format would do Hog Biker a world of good. Perhaps a little more excitement in the posts as well?
