A Prarie View

Carolyn’s personality shines through this beautiful blog. One look and it makes you want to go out and appreciate nature’s beauty. A personal blog it has its perks and downside.

Visual Aesthetics – 10

This is one beautiful looking blog. No other words needed. Just visit to take a look.

User Friendliness – 10

Very user friendly. Uncluttered and very organized sidebar. Good pages/sections at the top of the page. Expandable menus used to avoid long and not so pretty lists. Fast loading time. Readable fonts. Great overall layout. I love seeing blogs like this.

Reading Enjoyment – 7

Like most personal blogs this one is a mixture of interesting and not so interesting posts. Carolyn sticks to topics close to home and reflects a very Godly character. Lots of memes which makes for great topics at times but isn’t always of interest to other visitors unless you are part of the meme circle. Lots of sponsored posts too although it isn’t really bad since the Carolyn always makes sure that her sponsored entries don’t sound too made up and is really something relevant to her life.

Useful Info – 9

Plenty of useful information here mostly because of the sponsored posts. You’ll also find some useful links. You’ll find a wide variety of topics from debt management to medical equipment for apnea sufferers.

Overall Experience – 9

Prairie View is a visual treat. I visited several times before reviewing it and whatever theme is used that day the simplicity and the wonderful headers evoke the calmness and beauty of real prairies. Carolyn likes giving useful links, which is great but content-wise it doesn’t appeal much to me.
