Lift Magazine
Lift Magazine is all about the adventurer. It is a “web magazine for the adventurer in all of us (not necessarily the gym goer) — urban men and women who work hard and play harder. LIFT is dedicated to covering sports, people, places, activities, gear, art, and politics of the world.”
Visual Aesthetics - 9
Red and black are the predominant colors and they give off a strong aura - something that suits the adventurous theme of the blog. Blog entries are decorated with relevant pictures, making for a better experience. The huge red ads on the top right of the home page kind of takes a bit away from the aesthetics, though.
User Friendliness - 8
The pages load up easily enough and you can find your way around the blog - if you scroll down to the bottom of the page. That is one thing that I think could be improved to make it easier for the reader - links to archives and categories could be placed in a more convenient location.
Reading Enjoyment - 10
The posts are very well-written and a lot of thought obviously has been put into the topics. I had a really enjoyable time going through Lift Magazine.
Useful Info - 10
From simple exercises to extravagant wedding proposals - you can find a lot of useful tips in Lift Magazine.
Overall Experience - 9
Lift Magazine is already in my bookmarks! Just a little tweaking of the layout and everything would be perfect.

Thank you so much for the review! I wanted to touch base and let you know that I’m taking some of your advice to work upon the ‘user friendliness’ … it’s great to get an outside opinion.
Regards, and again … thank you, thank you, thank you!
