I have to be honest and say that I am quite biased when it comes to the template, even if it is a default one. After all, Sweet Left Foot uses the same Blogger template that I used for my first ever personal blog! I would love for this blog to find a template of its own to give it more character, though. On the upside, there are lots of images here that serve as eye candy, and all the elements of the blog blend well together.

User Friendliness – 9
Sweet Left Foot loads very quickly with no problems at all. It also has a very organized layout that makes navigation an easy task. I suggest adding more external links that will lead users to more information related to the posts, though.

Definitely a strong point of Sweet Left Foot. This blog will fascinate you and hold you captive. More than merely presenting the news/topic, the blogger adds his own perspective to what he writes.

The visuals of Hungry Like The Wolfgram are perfect for the blog’s overall theme. The words lean and strong come to mind. I can’t explain why, but I guess the effect is perfect. The blog posts themselves contain images and videos, which add to the whole visual experience.

Hungry Like The Wolfgram is not only visually appealing, but it also makes the whole reading experience easy for everyone! The design contributes to easy navigation. The pages load up in no time at all. My only suggestion: add a section for labels!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Mike W’s posts. I am a frustrated athlete, and people like Mike W are amazing in my book. He writes well and inserts funny lines along the way. I think many an amateur athlete will do good reading this blog.

Lady Loves Pinstripes looks very nice! The custom header is a mixture of pretty and kick butt – a theme that I observe all throughout the blog. The posts are peppered with relevant images that surely serve as eye candy for those who love sports.

I love the header-background of Basic Bloganomics! It really adds character to the blog. There is also no shortage of photos in the blog posts, making for a nice visual experience. My only issue is that there are so many other buttons and widgets that they do not seem to mix well together anymore.

User Friendliness – 7
I had no problems navigating the site as relevant links are easy to find in the leftmost column. However, I really did have problems with the load time. It could be because of the amount of pictures in the blog, but I think it just might be because of the widgets scattered all over the place. More than slowing down load time, they also make for a cluttered look. Another thing that I had problems with is the fact that a snap preview came up almost every time I moved my mouse. Perhaps these could be lessened?

Reading Enjoyment – 9
I did enjoy reading the posts in Basic Bloganomics. While I am not that into wrestling, there are some interesting posts about other sports as well. More so, David also writes about various topics such as his visit to the zoo. That post was really fun!

The biggest thing going for J.T’s Hoops Blog in terms of visual aesthetics is his header. It was obviously made specifically for the blog and it really suits the theme. In other aspects, however, J.T’s Hoops Blog can use some improvement. The posts themselves could use some relevant photos. The placement of the ads and the formatting in the right column take a lot away from the visual element.

User Friendliness – 8
I like how you can find tons of other information in the right column, which Jeffrey has kindly populated with links. However, the archives are inconveniently found at the bottom of the page. The posts could also use more links to make it easier to find related information from within the posts.

Reading Enjoyment – 10
I love basketball and I like reading blogs like J.T’s Hoops Blog. I think that one edge that J.T’s Hoops Blog has is the fact the blogger offers his own insights in the analysis part.

J.T’s Hoops Blog is very strong in this aspect as well. Even though the NBA season is not ongoing, there are lots of things going on in the world of basketball and you can find some of that info here.

Scotzine’s visuals are very neat. With everything organized well, the overall look of the blog makes a pleasant viewing experience. There are a couple of photos here and there – a bit more in the individual posts would make for a better visual aspect.

Manes N Tails is very well-organized and the pages load up easily. It is quite hard to scroll down through long blocks of text, though. Another thing is that the font could be a little bigger, especially since the posts are long – it is a bit hard on the eyes.
