Wanna Smile has a light blue theme with splashes of green thrown in – a perfect combination in my mind. The color theme is very easy on the eyes and the pictures in each post just make your viewing experience tops.

User Friendliness – 10
In spite of the number of photos in the blog, I did not have any problems with load times. Navigation is an ease – you can find individual posts either by category or through the archives. More so, majority of the posts have links to the original locations of the pictures.

Reading Enjoyment – 10
While there isn’t much text to be found in this blog, the photos speak for themselves. The few accompanying text is also apt, adding to the reading enjoyment.

Technically, you will not find practical information in the posts of Wanna Smile. However, if what you need is a lift to your spirits, then this blog is the most useful that you can find!

I love Wanna Smile! While there are countless other blogs which have the same purpose, the blogger has good taste and seems to find the most fun, cutest, and funniest photos there are online. Keep up the good work!

While I would not say that the gifts pictured in Truly Hideous Gifts make for eye candy, you really cannot fault the blog in terms of visuals. Relevant photos, good design – good viewing experience.

Truly Hideous Gifts is very well designed, making navigation easy as pie. My only suggestion is to add a categories or labels section, to make it easy to find certain kinds of gifts.

Reading Enjoyment – 10
How can one not enjoy reading through Truly Hideous Gifts? While anyone would hate receiving a hideous gift, it is fun to read about other people’s experiences with them.

You can say that the information in this blog is useful in two ways. One, you will know what to to stay clear off the next time you go gift hunting. Two, you will know what to give the person you want to receive a bad gift. Very useful indeed.

Truly Hideous Gifts is one of a kind, one of those blogs that will certainly give you a lot of fun. I am actually thinking of digging up some old things and see if I can share a hideous gift.

Out Of The Mouth Of Dave got me at the header. I think it’s a seal – don’t quote me on that – with its mouth wide open. It surely catches one’s attention. The color scheme is pleasant enough – shades of blue and black. The posts have relevant photos in them as well. I have a feeling that the visuals could be much better, though. Perhaps a little more tweaking of the right column?

User Friendliness – 9
Content-wise, there isn’t an overwhelming amount in Out Of The Mouth Of Dave as of yet. That makes navigating the blog an easy task. The links to the Archives are easily found in the right column. However, I would have preferred to see that before the ads and other content.

Reading Enjoyment – 10
Out Of The Mouth Of Dave scores perfectly for this section as the content is very entertaining. Dave has a knack for picking out a perfectly ordinary topic and putting a twist to it.

Useful Info – 10
Since Out Of The Mouth Of Dave deals with topics that we come across in everyday life, there is a lot of useful information in the blog. The take of the blogger on the issue may not be as conventional as some would like, but that doesn’t take away from the insights that you can pick up from the blog posts.

Out Of The Mouth Of Dave rules in terms of content – though there definitely could be more of this. I suppose a little tweaking with respect to the visuals can push this blog even higher.

Another dark themed blog is what we have with i animate you. It uses a black background with shades of blue – very pleasant to look at. Of course, each post has a lot of animation, courtesy of the blogger. This is a very visually appealing blog.

User Friendliness – 9
One gripe that many people have about dark backgrounds is the fact that it makes it harder to read the text. That is not the case with i animate you as the font size is larger than usual. As for navigation, the relevant links and info can be easily found in the right column. I think it would be a good idea to include a section for archives.

Reading Enjoyment – 10
I think that only the most humorless (is there such a word?) person will find this blog boring. i animate you is full of funny pictures with funny text to boot. This is perfect to jump start your Monday mornings and you’re looking to give yourself a boost.

In terms of practical information, i animate you does not really have a lot but hey, who says humor can’t be practical? If you need to cheer up someone, then you can definitely use i animate you!

If you’re looking for humorous visual stimulation, then i animate you should be at the top of your list. This blog is something that can melt away the stresses of your every day life.

Visual Aesthetics – 10
The main page of the site has very vivid colors but they mix well with each other. I love the picture of the two moms and their kids – it really gives you a very good idea of what the site is all about. Brooke’s Blog also has relevant photos scattered within the posts.

User Friendliness – 10
The Mother Load is very user friendly. The main page has links to all the relevant content within the site. I also had no problems with load time. More so, despite the vivid color scheme, the fonts are still easy on eyes.

Reading Enjoyment – 10
The tagline itself is enough to tell you how much you will enjoy this site. A word of warning, though, this blog is not for those who consider themselves prudish!

Useful Info – 8
The site is fairly new so there is not much by way of content. I was really looking forward to listening to their podcast but the page said that it is still to come. As for the blog, there is a lot of enjoyable reads but you may not consider them practical info in the strictest sense.

The blog’s visuals are very simple and I think the simplicity adds to its appeal. The background is simply white and the fonts black and a shade of green. There are relevant photos within the posts themselves so there is enough eye candy there. One thing that would make the visual aspect better is for the ads on the top of the page to be replaced by something more relevant to the blog.

User Friendliness – 7
The pages of Honey Dew This load up with no problems at (this despite my currently crappy Internet connection). The color scheme, fonts, and formatting also makes it easy for me to read the posts. However, aside from the links to categories in the right column, there isn’t much by way of navigation tools.

Reading Enjoyment – 10
Honey Dew This scores big in this respect. Mark Anthony writes well, with his witty lines. I really don’t want to say more – just go and read the posts for yourself.

In terms of relationships and how to deal with the opposite sex, Honey Dew This presents a lot of useful information. Though many of the posts might have sarcastic tones to them, the usefulness of the information is there nonetheless.

One strong point of City Pictures is the visual aspect. The header and the numerous art within the entries all seem to be created by the blogger himself and definitely add character to the whole blog. The formatting is such that the overall look of the City Pictures is pleasant to the eyes.

User Friendliness –
City Pictures is well organized, making it very easy for any reader to navigate the blog. The links are all located on the right hand column while the main entries are on the bigger main column. I didn’t have problems with page load time either.

Reading Enjoyment – 10
Mike writes in a very amusing manner. It seems that he engages his readers with every post he publishes. Some of the topics may not be deemed proper by some people but hey, the blog has its own target readers who can appreciate the topics.

Useful Info – 8
It could very well be that the aspect of useful information is where City Pictures can use some improvement on. This is not to say that you cannot pick up some useful information along the way but let’s just say that this is not the strongest point of City Pictures.

Overall Experience - 9
If you are looking for something fun and yet relevant at the same time, City Pictures is a good blog to visit. If only for the unique art, I would visit City Pictures regularly.

The color theme of Fanny Pack Antics is actually stark but it works as there are more than enough photos to provide visual stimulation.

User Friendliness – 10
The pages of Fanny Pack Antics load up quickly despite the amount of photos. The blog is quite well organized as well, with the links neatly arranged on the left column.

Reading Enjoyment – 8
I have to admit, some of the photos and captions are quite funny. Some of them, however, I really can’t find humor in. It could be personal preferences, though.

Not much practical information in Fanny Pack Antics although you’d have some fun! Oh, you can pick out pointers – what not to do when you tour other places.

Fanny Pack Antics is a blog to visit if you are up for a light enjoyable read.

The profile had me in stitches. It’s one of the funniest blog introduction I’ve read so far…“They say that when a hundred monkeys get together and bang the keys on the keybord randomly , the entire works of shakesphere will be reproduced. Thanks to this blog , you know thats not true. No no , don’t misunderstand Me. I’m not normally this dumb. I’m just having a blonde moment. I’m just another Internet-addicted idiot suffering from diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the mind. My ignorance is Encyclopedic. Hell , Do I care ? This is my blog. Phifft….” Now you know what to expect. Read on.

Visual Aesthetics – 7

Very simple BLACK template. The blog is neat and uncluttered, which is nice, but it needs some relief from all that text. I prefer this look though compared to “confused-looking” blogs.

User Friendliness – 9

Simplicity rules. Fast loading time. Large readable text. Organized sidebar with very clear section labels. Easy navigation. My only gripe is that there is no link to previous posts at the bottom of the page.

Reading Enjoyment – 10

Very interesting posts. At a glance the length might discourage you but if you persevere and read on you will definitely be rewarded by a few laughs. Some posts ARE too long but on the whole they are written well enough to take your mind of the length. Refreshingly frank and simple. No long story telling but full of tell-it-as-it-is posts from a guying having a blonde moment. How politically incorrect is that?

Lots of fun info but almost all of no use. But since fun is good for our health it is still useful thus earning this blog a six in this category.
