Earl Interrupted is the blog of a former Army Officer/Aviator. He is married to an Iraq veteran, who became disabled while in service. This blog is a glimpse into the real life of a family and a person who has served his country and has suffered for it.
Visual Aesthetics – 7
I love the dark color theme of the blog – it suits the content very well. However, I would have liked some more visuals to enhance the overall experience.
User Friendliness – 8
There aren’t too many posts in the blog as of yet – just enough to get you going – so there really is no problem with navigation. The links to the archives are easy to follow as well. One suggestion would be to create a section for labels or categories. This would help readers find posts of particular interest more easily.
Reading Enjoyment – 10
It does not seem right to say that you enjoy reading about the issues of a person, or a family. I would have to say that the posts in Earl Interrupted caught my attention, though. I found myself engrossed as I read about the thoughts and experiences of the blogger.
