Visual Aesthetics – 7
The blog title design reminds me of the cartoon shows I used to watch as child. In particular, those starring Woody Woodpecker. The design isn’t too grand or simply copied from a template (I think) but the whole feel is “organized”. The mint-green color, however, left me feeling a little seasick.
User Friendliness – 8
The loading time is great. No major delays here so no need to bang your hand on that unsuspecting mouse.
Reading Enjoyment – 10
The entries are fun to read. Some are even what I call “activity entries” which allows the reader to participate in some ways or in some sites. I particularly liked the NationStates wherein one creates a nation, chooses its name, currency, animal/symbol and type of government, and every day (depending on the chosen settings), one or two issues are submitted to the “government” of this new country. Well, wouldn’t it be fun to be President or Prime Minister? .
